This may not be the best news but whether we like it or not stretch marks are almost second to nature especially talking about women. When the skin is stretched by any fast growth the middle layer of the skin, the dermis breaks and it leaves scars that are visible up to the outer layer of the skin. This rapid growth of skin can be as a result of a growth spurt or perhaps some weight gain. Trying to get rid of stretch marks on buttocks may not be extremely easy but it is possible and you will need to exercise a good amount of patience.

Remove stretch marks
Stretch mark removal products
There are numerous products that are effective in the removal of stretch marks on buttocks but you must check them on a small part of your skin so as to know if your skin could get irritated by them. A good place to try them on would be at the back of your hand and then leave it to stay on for several hours and if there is no reaction then you can comfortably move on. A reaction to the product would be able to show by some swelling, redness or red bumps on that patch where the product was placed.
Exfoliation
You can use exfoliation to get rid of stretch marks on your buttocks. Even though doing exfoliation will not completely eradicate stretch marks on your bottoms it will surely make them less obvious and it can be used as you continue with other treatments. Try a natural exfoliation cream made form yogurt, baking soda and oatmeal.
Moisturize your bottom
Just like we like to put moisturizing lotions on our hands and face before we go to sleep, the same treatment should be meted on your buttocks if you are going to get rid of the stretch marks found there. Look for moisturizers that have been enriched with extra vitamins A and E and apply it every night before you go to bed. You may also want to try cocoa butter since it is known to have the most effective ingredients in dealing with stretch marks.
Cut your weight
There is nothing worse on stretch marks than putting on weight. The buttocks appear to be the repository for excess fats in the body and as such many women who put on weight have it deposited right there. You will not succeed in removing stretch backs from your buttocks if you cannot maintain an ideal weight. Any weight you gain causes your skin to be stretched and when it reaches its limit it tears from the inside and the result is those ugly stretch marks on your buttocks.
